Switchback Coffee Packaging

Switchback Coffee is an amazing local staple in the Colorado Springs, CO coffee scene. From its humble beginnings of roasting coffee in a garage to establishing two successful cafes and a roastery, Switchback continues to focus on creating spaces of belonging and connection. Within each roastery, you’ll find wide open spaces, white walls and greenery, and one more thing, sunshine! We wanted to capture this with the packaging. Each roasted bag of coffee highlights the space where Switchback comes alive—inside the cafe and inside the mountain city where it resides. To enhance this connection, we created a custom illustration for the side panels of each bag. The full color palette mimics the interior cafe space and provides a backdrop for each coffee name.
