Love’s Oven
Since 2008, Love’s Oven has built its reputation by crafting great tasting, cleanly extracted products to help customers with chronic pain and other ailments. Though the original logo identity mimicked Love’s handcrafted nature, it needed to mature just as its state-of-the-art facility did. The Love’s Oven brand made an impact on the medical marijuana industry prior to the passing of Amendment 64 and as such, the mark and color palette were widely recognized. It was essential to consider the brand equity by using recognizable design elements and colors all while pushing the brand to the future.
The original Love’s Oven logo was well-established right along side the handmade baked goods that made them famous. As the brand became more popular and retail-driven, the brand was ready for an upgrade that valued the past.
As with most brands, color equity was important as we researched Love’s competitors. The green and pink palette identified Love’s immediately. It is with that thought that we agreed to update the palette slightly into something more approachable, but still recognizable.
